What is firmware?

The programs/software that provide the basic functions on electronic devices are referred to as firmware. Swisscom regularly updates the firmware of its own devices to fix bugs and implement new functions.

Firmware updates for your devices are performed automatically, usually at night, as soon as a new version is available.
