The Availability Checker is a straightforward tool for checking which Internet speeds and products are available at your address.
Enter your street, town or postcode into the blank field and select your address from the list. Click on “Check now” and it will instantly tell you which products and Internet speeds are available to you.
What kind of information does the Availability Checker show?
Available technologies: It tells you which technologies, such as fibre, copper or cable, are available at your address.
Maximum speed: The Checker shows you the maximum Internet speed you can achieve through your connection.
Available products: It tells you which Swisscom products (Internet, TV) can be offered at your address.
Can I also check the availability of Swisscom TV?
Yes, you can check the availability of Swisscom TV. Once you have entered your address, the Availability Checker will tell you how many TV devices you can watch TV on simultaneously, in UHD, HD or SD quality.
How accurate is the information in the Availability Checker?
The Internet speeds within a municipality may vary due to the variation in fibre-optic technologies or expansion zones.
Swisscom endeavours to provide accurate information in an availability check. However, Swisscom cannot guarantee that information provided about the network expansion is up to date, accurate or complete.
What can I do if there is no information in the Availability Checker about the current status of the fibre network expansion?
This means that fibre is not yet available at your location. Information about the Swisscom fibre-optic network is usually available around 18 months before the rollout. As soon as the fibre-optic network is available in your location, Swisscom customers like you will be sent a letter with more information.
