Frequently asked questions
Once you have added Netflix to your Swisscom services, you will receive an e-mail with activation instructions. Click the link in the e-mail or go to ‘My selection’ (additional offers) in My Swisscom. On the Netflix product detail page (www.swisscom.ch/netflix), you will see the ‘Activate Netflix’ button. Follow the instructions to either set up a new account or link an existing one. Note that only Swisscom core product customers have the option of arranging a Netflix subscription through Swisscom.
Yes, you can link your existing Netflix account without having to cancel it. Simply follow the steps to link your account and enter your Netflix credentials. Once you have set up the link, your previous payment method will be deactivated. If you previously paid through Apple, you will need to cancel your subscription there too to avoid duplicate billing.
If you cancel, pause or change your Swisscom package, please note the following: a) If you have any other accepted payment method for your Netflix account (e.g. credit card), your account will remain active and Netflix will take payment via this payment method. b) If no other payment method is stored, your Netflix account will be temporarily deactivated. Add a new payment method to continue using Netflix.
You can change your Netflix subscription at any time. Log in to Netflix.com and go to your account. Under ‘Membership details’, you can select the ‘Change subscription’ option and select the desired Netflix subscription. Alternatively, you can change the subscription in My Swisscom under ‘My selection’ (additional offers). Changes will take effect immediately and the new price will be reflected in your invoice.
If you accidentally linked the wrong account to your package, please contact Netflix Customer Service and provide the e-mail address of the Netflix account that was incorrectly linked.
