Sustainability

Material

  • The Internet-Box 5 Pro housing is made from 65% recycled plastic.
  • The giftbox is made from 100% recycled cardboard, with no plastic used.
     

Power saving function

The router embeds a power-saving function that enables it to be switched on and off automatically. When the power-saving function is activated, energy consumption is reduced by 98% compared with normal operation. You can find an overview of energy consumption here(opens in new tab).

Swisscom devices sustainability

To determine the environmental emissions, a comprehensive life cycle analysis was carried out for the Internet-Box 5 Pro and it received the Green Product label certified by TÜV Süd, which proves the sustainability of the device.

CO2 footprint

The Internet-Box 5 Pro generates 33.1 kg of CO2 during production and around 85.6 kg of CO2 over a 5-year period, with an average Swiss electricity mix. Commissioning

Easiest setup: When you connect your new Internet-Box, it will automatically configure itself right away. This also works when changing routers – passwords and settings are transferred.

Return

You can return the ordered, complete item in its original packaging free of charge within 14 days. No returns are possible after 14 days.
