Why a DevOpsWeek?

Swisscom employs around a thousand DevOps engineers and has the ambition to achieve DevOps mastery. Learning and developing together is key to this. In addition to various courses, Mastery Fridays and other offers, Swisscom DevOpsWeek offers a week of different sessions to expand your own knowledge and skills. The special thing about it is that most of the content is from employees for employees. The programme is supplemented with external impulses in order to look beyond one's own nose. In the 2019 edition, for example, we welcomed speakers from Google, SAP, bespian, Oracle, 56k.cloud, VSHN, Container Solutions and KPN in addition to IT luminary Mary Poppendieck.

Learning new things, passing on knowledge and networking - that was the motto of DevOpsWeek 2019. With 19 workshops & training sessions, 9 dojos and 22 talks at various levels of difficulty, there was something to suit everyone. The focus was on hands-on and interactive contributions, from very technical to cultural topics.
