Swisscom is expanding its security and family portfolio: the new security and service packages (S to L) are now available, as are the new blue Kids Mobile and blue Kids Watch subscriptions. The new deals give residential customers comprehensive protection in their everyday digital life as well as customised mobile solutions for their children.
More protection for digital devices and data at the same price: the new blue Security & Service S, M and L packages continue to protect up to ten devices – including mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers – against viruses, hacker attacks and spyware. Thanks to identity monitoring, e-mail addresses and other previously collected personal information are checked for possible data leaks on the Internet and dark web, making identity theft through cybercrime more difficult. In addition to a password manager, the offerings now also include a VPN function for secure surfing in public WLANs and enhanced protection against online fraud, including SMS fraud, phishing, fraudulent online stores and malicious websites. All security functions can be conveniently managed via the My Security app. All packages cost the same as before (from CHF 9.90/month, blue Security & Service S), but include more services.
The integrated parental controls in My Security enable you to restrict access to the Internet for young people by blocking certain websites with password protection or on a profile basis. In addition, white lists and black lists can be created to allow or block websites individually. Fixed surfing times can also be set for use. The controls are managed centrally via the My Security app or the parents’ online portal.
My Security thus protects the whole family – from tiny tots to adults – and adapts to individual needs.
In addition to the new security and service packages, Swisscom is launching two new Kids subscriptions with more data and higher speeds, which are eligible for the “We are Family!” discount.
Both subscriptions are available for children under the age of 18 (previous subscriptions only up to age 16). The existing Kids subscriptions remain unchanged.
