Swisscom wins connect Shop Test for fourth time in a row

Swisscom has once again proven its credentials in quality service provision. Swisscom Shop employees again impressed the judges across all categories in the latest connect Mobile Shop Test and were named overall winners in German-speaking countries. Swisscom customers also receive optimum service online and over the hotline.

“I am over the moon that our commitment and consistent focus on offering top quality advice have paid off,” said a delighted Michel Siegenthaler, new Head of Shops and Retail Channels at Swisscom. “We again won by a clear margin, receiving the highest score among German-speaking countries. My thanks go to the teams in the Shops who go above and beyond for our customers every day. This victory also demonstrates the success of our regional presence with 115 Shops throughout Switzerland. Going forward, we will continue to have a visible local presence in all larger towns and cities and be ready to advise our customers.”

The 171 testers for the connect Mobile Shop Test inspected 356 mobile phone shops in cities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Each shop was visited twice, examining criteria including shop layout and facilities, ambiance, attitude of shop staff and the quality of tariff, device and service advice given. Swisscom’s modern, high-quality shop design and excellent consulting service scored particularly high. According to connect, Swisscom has a number of outstanding Shops in Switzerland. This year, the Shop in Lausanne ranked the highest.

Best service online and over the hotline too

Swisscom customers also receive the best online and hotline customer service as both the My Swisscom app and hotline came top in their respective tests.
