At the beginning of August 2017 Ivan Büchi will leave Glarn Kantonalbank to join Swisscom and head the digital banking platform unit. At Glarn Kantonalbank, the 39 year old shaped its digital strategy, for which it was celebrated as one of most digital Swiss banks with modern online products like the 'Online-Hypothek hypomat.ch' and 'Robo-Advisor investomat.ch'.
As head of the digital banking platform, Ivan will push ahead with the digitisation of Swisscom products like the eVoja consulting tool, digital identification and signatures, and the crowdfunding platform. "In my new role, I can now promote the digitisation of an entire sector”, remarks a delighted Büchi, for ICT and digitisation partner Swisscom supports around 170 banks across the country.
Before joining Swisscom and Glarn Kantonalbank, the IT business engineer and economist worked in national and international companies like Avaloq, Zurich and with several banks.”
