Laura Cioli

Laura Cioli has been a member of the Swisscom Board of Directors since 2025. She has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bologna and an MBA from the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan. After working as a partner with the consulting firm Bain & Company from 1991 to 1998, she moved to Vodafone Italia, where she held various roles as Executive Director until 2006. Between 2006 and 2008, Laura Cioli served as Senior Vice President at ENI Gas & Power and was responsible for business performance, strategy, marketing, communications and customer service. In 2008, she took over as Chief Operating Officer at Sky Italia. Ms Cioli subsequently became CEO at various companies in Italy. From 2013 until 2015, she managed the Italian market leader in digital payment solutions, CartaSi (now Nexi). Laura Cioli then headed up RCS Media Group from 2015 to 2016 and GEDI Gruppo Editoriale from 2018 to 2020. Finally, from 2022 until January 2025, Ms Cioli served as CEO of the Sirti Group, the Italian leader in design, construction, management and maintenance of telecommunication networks. She also has experience as a member of different boards of directors.
