Even as a child, I was fascinated by the networked world. Today, I work for the biggest network in Switzerland and am living the dream.
In our team, we operate the Swisscom optical transport network, the Core and Access Net, which uses fibre-optic technology to handle huge data streams. We therefore make sure that all customers and the whole of Switzerland have access to the latest digital applications and best possible performance. I am curious and resourceful, and enjoy researching new ways of developing our network further.
In my free time, I enjoy skydiving. The feeling of freedom when you are in the air is indescribable. I see many parallels between this passion and my work: the preparation, dealing with the unexpected and the value of sharing experience with colleagues. At Swisscom, I also appreciate the flexibility I enjoy in managing my work.
