“I’m right where I’m needed.”

Technology simplifies everyday life enormously, but it cannot be allowed to determine our entire lives.
In Steven Spielberg’s film, “Ready Player One”, people lose themselves in an illusory virtual world. To prevent this from becoming a reality, we need to take a critical approach to the risks and potential of technology. I am an inquisitive and helpful person, I embrace technology and I was one of the founders of Swisscom’s XPERIENCE SPACE, where employees can try out new technologies, such as VR glasses. We can only support our customers with confidence if we have experienced technological innovation in practice ourselves.
I have now worked for Swisscom for 23 years and am often asked by colleagues why I stay. My answer is that I’ve done ten different jobs and have constantly developed my skills and experience. I really value my extensive network and I’m always right where I’m needed.
