Training model

A profession as innovative and future-oriented as you are - digital business developer EFZ

In summer 2023, the first apprentices will start their training in the brand-new digital business development EFZ apprenticeship, co-developed by Swisscom. Are you one of the first pioneers at the interface between people, technology and business? Then find out more here.

During your apprenticeship, you will support the digital development and innovation of Swisscom and various business areas. This means that you will scrutinise processes and work in order to optimise them - sustainably and digitally. You will research issues relating to everyday digital working life and thus gain the necessary overview.

In direct dialogue with the relevant specialists, you will develop concrete proposals for solutions and examine the extent to which these can be implemented. But you are not only involved in the theoretical part: you are also actively involved when it comes to implementation.

Finally, you check whether the measures have had the desired effect. If these goals have not been achieved, you will look for further solutions with the support of the team. As a digital business developer, you will shape the digitalisation of tomorrow.

«As the fingerprint may no longer be used on some smartphones, a new solution had to be proposed. Firstly, we defined the initial situation, discussed the possible options and examined them. Facial recognition technology was the obvious solution.»
