CHIP has named Swisscom’s mobile network the best network in Switzerland for the tenth time. Swisscom scores top marks in the categories mobile Internet, telephony, long-distance trains and 5G availability, offering its customers the best network in the digital world. This outstanding result shows that Swisscom’s continuous investment in its infrastructure is bearing fruit.
CHIP magazine has been testing Switzerland’s mobile networks annually for ten years. And for the past ten years on the trot, Swisscom has come out on top. This year, Swisscom received the German overall score of 1.07, which corresponds to the Swiss school note of ‘up to 6’.
According to CHIP, Swisscom received the highest score in all categories and thus has the best network in Switzerland: ‘The most impressive thing about Swiss networks is their perfection – errors are clearly the exception. Swisscom stands apart in terms of performance.’ And when it comes to the availability of 5G in cities and rural areas, CHIP reports that Swisscom sets the standard. CHIP also gives Swisscom top marks for the mobile connection on SBB’s long-distance trains: ‘Swisscom has the best network here, too, and took top honours in the category.’

According to connect magazine, Swisscom not only has the best network, but also the best hotline. This was the result of the 2025 customer survey in the business customer segment. Swisscom remains the undisputed leader in both Internet and mobile services. Network quality, customer service and app use are rated particularly highly. Swisscom also won all of connect magazine's service tests (hotline, app and shop) last year in the residential customer segment.
Swisscom’s mobile network is being expanded and modernised every day. Swisscom invests roughly CHF 1.7 billion annually in network and IT expansion and currently offers mobile communications to 99% of the Swiss population and 5G+ to 86% of the Swiss population.
