Thanks to its exceptional quality and reliability, Swisscom IP-Plus continues to achieve the highest scores in independent CNLAB reports. The successful, long-established IP-Plus has been compatible with Enterprise Connect (EC), as EC Local Internet IP-Plus, since April 2024.
Enterprise Connect is a proven, high-end E2E solution offering many services and options. It guarantees an E2E service level for all overlay, company and location services. Due to its modular design, the customer can configure their ideal networking solution and receive it directly from Swisscom with only one contract and one invoice.
Relying on technologies such as software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualisation (NFV), Enterprise Connect gives customers all the advantages of digitisation to make their network smarter, faster and more agile. Customers can use the dashboard to easily and flexibly configure and customise their chosen services, including all corporate locations.
Customers also receive fascinating insights in the form of reports, network information and network messages. The dashboard also provides an overview of the inventory and the option of ordering add-ons or new services. The Enterprise Connect modules are available in sizes S to L, soon also XL, depending on the Service Level Agreement (SLA), and can be freely selected. This allows the customer to choose the ideal E2E networking solution for them with the service levels they need.
The Company Module includes the dashboard and support services (help, support and additional services). The dashboard is the Enterprise Connect control centre.
In the Location Module, the customer selects, for each location, the bandwidth and service level (SLA) they need, individually and based on their own requirements – from best effort to 100% guaranteed availability with DualNet.
Whether wide area network (WAN), local area network (LAN) or wireless LAN (WLAN), Enterprise Connect offers a modern and secure network with any-to-any connectivity for enterprise-wide communication.
The Internet connection is secure and highly available thanks to high-level security with a dedicated firewall, web filter rules for each subnet or virtual local area network (VLAN), reporting and optional functions such as anti-virus.
The Cloud Access Service is an attractive service that enables customers to configure their hybrid cloud environment to suit them. It allows them to connect to various cloud providers, such as the Swisscom Cloud and the public clouds Azure and AWS, via a single Swisscom network access.
Enterprise Connect (EC) has undergone continuous functional development since its launch. From the second half of 2024, the high-performance Internet connection IP Plus and EC LAN S will be joined by the EC LAN M and EC LAN L options, which offer guaranteed availability of 99.9 to 99.99%. EC LAN XL is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2025.
Enterprise Connect customers continue to enjoy the following benefits:
Two further options available for Enterprise Connect from autumn 2024 are: EC Hosted PBX – a modular, flexible, cloud-based telephony solution that can be configured from the dashboard in real time and is fully integrated with Microsoft Teams. EC Remote Access Service (RAS) – secure VPN access to the company network while on the move or at home.
The new services and options make Enterprise Connect even more attractive, complementing the EC portfolio perfectly and taking it to a new level.
