Secure emergency, rescue services networks

POLYCOM enables secure radio communication between the police, fire and rescue services, civil defence, the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security and parts of the army. POLYCOM is used widely and is also used to trigger sirens to alert the public.In recent years, we have set up several complete police radio networks. We continue to be the POLYCOM maintenance partner for twelve cantons. Swisscom Broadcast has also been responsible for maintaining the network for the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security since 2011. With our long-standing experience in the planning, setting up and operation of POLYCOM peripheral systems and backbone networks, we have extensive technical expertise in the provision of mission-critical solutions.
